About Us

Welcome to Ayana Flow, where mindfulness meets movement and healing becomes a practice of presence.

Ayana Flow was born from a deeply personal journey of transformation. After navigating profound loss, life upheaval, and the reality that healing doesn’t follow a straight line, I came to see wellness not as a checklist, but as an ongoing practice of attunement to breath, sensation, emotion, and the rhythms of everyday life.

At Ayana Flow, we believe true wellness is a dynamic balance of body, mind, and spirit. Movement becomes a way of listening to yourself, not correcting yourself. Mindfulness becomes a companion through both ease and challenge. And community becomes a reminder that we are never truly alone on our paths.

We offer practical guidance for mindful movement, tools for calming nervous systems, and compassionate perspectives for navigating life’s complexities. Whether through guided classes, reflective writing, or shared stories, Ayana Flow is here to inspire you to move with intention, live with awareness, and grow with kindness.

Here, healing is not perfection.

Here, movement is not performance.

Here, your experience is honoured.

Welcome to your flow.

About the Author

My name is Vanessa Harris

I’m Vanessa, the founder of Ayana Flow, and someone who has learned that healing isn’t a straight line. It’s a layered and often non-linear process of learning how to come back to yourself again and again.

Ayana Flow was born during some of the most challenging seasons of my life. Through a complicated childhood, profound loss, and major life transitions, I came to understand that wellness is not about optimization or checking boxes. It’s about learning how to stay present with yourself, especially when life feels quiet, uncertain, or unsteady.

Over time, movement became more than exercise for me. It became a way to listen. Writing became a way to process and integrate. Slowing down became an act of self-trust. Ayana Flow grew from that place, as a space to explore what it means to live with intentions, compassion, and balance without needing to have everything figured out.

At my core, I value health, gratitude, spontaneity, compassion, and balance. These values guide everything I share here, from mindful movement and reflective writing to gentle reminders that growth doesn’t have to be forceful to be meaningful.

My hope is that Ayana Flow helps you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels honest, supportive, and sustainable. Not to become someone new, but to return to who you already are.

I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s move, heal, and grow together… One intentional step at a time.

Let’s find your flow.
